Big enough for you?

Fourteen months ago I wrote Sustainability at the Tipping Point. Little did I know!

For the past three months, it's felt like someone lit a rocket -- fueled by the IPCC report, the formation of the US Climate Action Partnership, and dozens of other initiatives and commitments -- and the whole sustainability movement/industry/phenomenon is riding that rocket. Natural Logic is busier than ever (even too busy to blog!), and rapidly growing our capacity to meet -- and lead -- the market demand. (And we hear much the same from our friends/colleagues/competitors in other sustainability consulting firms.)

One highlight of the past few months was Bank of America's $20 billion environmental initiative. It seemed like a lot of money at the time, but not today. Not when Citigroup has announced that:

it will direct $50 billion over the next 10 years to address global climate change through investments, financings and related activities to support the commercialization and growth of alternative energy and clean technology among the clients and markets it serves, as well as within its own businesses and operations

Does anybody doubt that the game is on?
