Healing -- and preventing -- sick buildings

New ScientistUV light can mitigate "sick building syndrome."  It is interesting how little work is being done to make work environments better. [John Robb's Weblog]

Actually there's a huge anount of work on this, including on how to build smart, efficient, economical, high performing buildings that are less likely to get sick in the first place. (How do I know? we help people do it.)

PS: See, for example, http://www.ciwmb.ca.gov/greenbuilding/Design/CostIssues.htm#Cost&Benefit, as well as our site at http://www.natlogic.com

If you're in the Bay Area, come hear Natural Logic VP Bill Reed speak about "regenerative design" 7pm, 12/11 at the Genentech Lecture Hall UCSF Mission Bay Campus.
